Lisa was born and raised in Central Virginia and has been a lifelong member of Gather Lynchburg, (formerly First Assembly of God / Love & Truth Community Church). Her connection to the church runs deep, as her grandparents were among the founding members.
Lisa considers it a great privilege to serve in the Church that has been such an important part of her family's legacy and her own spiritual journey.
She is passionate about seeing God's Church grow and flourish. She has a heart for discipling new believers , helping them become firmly rooted and grounded in the Lord, developing a deeper love for Him, and carrying on the work of God's Kingdom in Lynchburg and beyond.
She loves to encourage others in their walk with the Lord and foster meaningful connections within the body of Christ to those outside the church community through special events that bring people together for fellowship, friendship and the building of lasting relationships. Her desire is to see God's Church thrive as believers are equipped to live out their faith and impact their community and the world for Jesus Christ.
In addition to serving as the Administrative Assistant at Gather Lynchburg, Lisa oversees Belevolence, Greeters / Guest Follow Up, Prayer Mininstry, Women's Ministry, and Missions giving.
Lisa is happily married to her husband, Scott, and together they have two adult children and one grandchild. Family is one of her greatest joys. She treasures time spent with her family, whether camping, fishing, spontaneous vacations, or simply enjoying one another's company hanging out.
